Results of Clinical Studies of Ayurvedic Preparations on Vrikka Shotha (Nephrotic Syndrome)
Punarnava and Trinapancha moola are known Ayurvedic drugs used to eliminate Oedema. Their efficacy in the management Shotha has been evaluated at CRU, Varanasi separately at combination for a comparison. 42 cases of Vrikka Shotha had already been studied prior to reporting period. The observations 770 have been reported from the Unit which are reproduced under in the Table.
This study was conducted by various research centers of Central Council of Research in Ayurvedia & Siddha.
